(More) Letters from Nicaragua

A patient came back to the clinic yesterday and dropped off a letter for Christine. She didn't stay because she didn't want to bother Christine, but did leave her email so we could stay in touch. Here is the letter:


Dear Dr. Chrisine,

I want to thank you and your team for the kind attention you gave to three women I brought to your clinic yesterday. All three were helped and left the clinic with deep gratitude. Especially gratifying for me was the help you were able to give to the 15 year old whose family had been told she would need surgery that would leave her unable to have children. She and her father have traveled a long way to come and see you and they left with hearts filled with joy and thanksgiving. Another woman is here today for an ablation and is also very grateful that she has found help for her problem. On their behalf, I thank you and your team for your compassion and willingness to help the women here in Nicaragua.
