After church, our team met up with the children from the orphanage (who were going to the service following ours).

Christine was reunited with two of the three children that she "adopted" from Nicaragua. She has been sponsoring the children for about 10 years.

Her husband, John, and three triplets, were able to meet Oscar, 21, (now in college) and Jonathan, 19, the two Nicaraguan parts of the family.
"It was kind of surreal," John said. "It changed from two-dimensional communication via pictures and emails. It was like meeting my child that I had never met before."
Dane agreed.
"It just cemented my relationship with them," he said.
